Many couples decide that a beach wedding is the perfect way to begin their married life.

There are few spots on this planet as relaxed and beautiful as Rainbow Beach. With a backdrop of Double Island Point, the famous Coloured Sands and Fraser Island, all of which are visible from the main beach, we believe that we can offer a truly magnificent setting for a wedding. Rainbow Beach, centrally situated in an area of vast unspoiled beauty, is the perfect setting for ceremonies at Sunrise and Sunset.

There are a variety of venues available for a meal after your ceremony. It will depend upon what your requirements are, but Rainbow Beach has the facilities to cater for large groups as well as intimate small weddings in first class restaurants. Destination weddings are easily arranged as a wide range of accommodation choice is available. Booking early will ensure that it is even possible to book accommodation for large groups of guests.

If you are dreaming of a quiet ceremony on a pristine beach, there are a few things that need to be sorted out first. For instance, in all localities, parks and beaches come under the classification of city council and/or national parks (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations. Each authority has its own laws and regulations regarding ceremonies and receptions. You may find that weddings are not permitted at your dream venue, or that you may need a permit or to pay a hire fee and/or bond to use the area.

Most times couples will need to notify authorities of relevant information. These include the intended amount of time needed in the area, how long set up and clean up will take, how many people will be attending, and other particulars regarding shade structures or marquee or whether it will be just a ceremony or the entire wedding.

Although I am not a wedding planner, I am able to assist you with some local advice about a wide range of services that you may need. I usually provide a list of information and allow my clients to make the arrangements for themselves. Also available locally are some excellent businesses which will be able to give assistance with planning and co-ordinate many of these services for you.
