My role is a privilege, and I respectfully acknowledge that you are allowing me to be part of your special moment.
 

A pre-marriage meeting at the marriage venue to communicate and clarify the final details of the event is an integral part of my service.   It is usually not necessary to have a full rehearsal however; to make sure everything runs smoothly, I always make myself available at a time suitable for both of us to meet prior to the wedding day. The declaration on the reverse of the Marriage Certificate can be signed at this meeting as this must be completed within the month prior to the marriage date. Final payment is also required by this time.

A professional thorough approach is taken toward your ceremony and follows the Code of Practice as required for Marriage Celebrants by the Australian Attorney General’s Department.
 

To ensure that I am fully prepared for your ceremony and to guarantee that it will run smoothly, my arrival at the venue 30 minutes before the ceremony begins and no later than 20 minutes is essential. This also enables me to be there in case any unforeseen adjustments need to be made to the ceremony layout.

Your ceremony will be presented confidently with conduct conforming to the occasion.
 

The unobtrusive use of a lapel microphone and access to a hand held microphone during my ceremonies gives the optimum opportunity for participation by yourself and guests. Music also plays a part in creating the right atmosphere on the day.  You might consider having a singer/musician at the ceremony or I can provide a compact disc/tape player which connects to my P.A. system for your use.  

Ask about my ideas for creating those extra special moments.  There are so many ideas that can make your ceremony more meaningful and memorable.  I have an eye for detail and can help with suggestions for ways to make your ceremony and consequently your treasured photos look just right.
